Do I need both the cleansing oil and this foam?

If you wear sunscreen or makeup, the double cleanse makes sense: oil dissolves, foam clears. If you wear neither, the foam alone is a complete cleanse — mornings especially.

Is a low-pH centella cleanser good for acne-prone skin?

A gentle, low-pH cleanse is one of the kindest things you can do for breakout-prone skin — it removes buildup without the stripping that pushes skin to overproduce oil. It supports acne care; it does not replace it. More in our guide to centella for acne-prone skin.

Why does my skin feel tight after other cleansers but not this one?

Tightness usually means the cleanser's surfactants took more than dirt — they stripped your barrier lipids. Amino-acid surfactants at skin-friendly pH clean selectively, which is why the after-feel is soft instead of squeaky.

Good everyday cleanser

Been reaching for this in the morning and after my oil at night. Nothing complicated about it, which I like. Still working through the bottle.

Happy so far

Rinses well and leaves a clean feel. I have to give the sides of my nose an extra splash, but that's usually where I miss bits anyway.

Use less than you think

Made a mountain of foam on my first try lol. A smaller amount is much easier to rinse and still leaves my face feeling clean.

No working up a lather in my hands. I appreciate that more than I thought I would.

Lovely soft lather

Some foaming washes make me feel like I've washed with hand soap. This one doesn't. The foam feels soft, and my skin is comfortable when I'm done.

Nice wash, one preference

The lather is lovely. I'd choose a version without lavender oil if there were one, but I've enjoyed using this bottle.

Does the job well

Fresh clean feeling without needing to scrub. Two pumps is a bit much for my face, so I'm sticking with one.

Great after the oil

Bought the foam to go with the cleansing oil and they work well together. This is the step that gives me that finished, clean feeling. Neither leaves my face squeaky.

My cheeks don't feel stretched

That tight feeling after washing was what I wanted to avoid. So far, so good with this foam. I can dry my face without immediately wanting to grab the moisturizer.
